What is Lojack and How Does Secure 8B Block It?

Lojack is a vehicle recovery system used by law enforcement and insurance companies to locate stolen cars. It works by transmitting a dedicated radio frequency signal (135–174 MHz) from a hidden device installed in the vehicle. When activated, this signal can be tracked by police cars or helicopters equipped with Lojack receivers.

The Secure 8B jammer effectively blocks this Lojack frequency, preventing the tracking device from sending out its signal. This makes it impossible for the vehicle’s location to be identified through Lojack, ensuring maximum privacy and protection against unauthorized monitoring.
